It started the week we moved into our new house.
Everything was unpacked. The furniture was in place. The paint was fresh. But something felt off — the house looked finished, but it didn't feel like ours.
I spent days scrolling through big-box stores and Etsy shops looking for a simple family name sign. What I found was either mass-produced, overpriced, or would take six weeks to arrive. The ones that actually looked beautiful cost more than our dining table.
So I designed one myself. Our last name. The year we got married. The city where we met. I had it made in metal, hung it above the fireplace, and when my daughter came home from school, she looked up and said:
"Now it feels like us."
That was the moment MFamily Sign was born.
