Ordering

How do I place an order? Browse our store, choose the sign you love, enter your personalization details (name, date, text, etc.), select your preferred size and material, then add to cart and check out. You'll receive an order confirmation email once your payment is processed.

Can I see a preview of my personalized sign before it's made? At this time, we do not offer individual design previews. However, each product page includes mockup images showing how your personalization will appear. Please double-check all spelling, names, and dates before submitting your order — once submitted, your details go directly to production.

What payment methods do you accept? We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay (where available). All transactions are secured with SSL encryption and comply with PCI standards.

I didn't receive a confirmation email. What should I do? Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still don't see it after 30 minutes, email us at support@mfamilysign.com with the name and email address used at checkout, and we'll confirm your order status.


Personalization

What information do I need to provide for my personalized sign? This depends on the product. Most signs require a family name or last name. Some may ask for an established year, address, custom text, or special details. Each product page will clearly show which fields are required.

Can I use special characters, accents, or non-English letters? Yes, in most cases we can accommodate accented characters (é, ñ, ü, etc.). If you need a special character that isn't available in the text field, please add it in the order notes or email us after placing your order.

What if I made a spelling mistake in my personalization? Please contact us at support@mfamilysign.com as soon as possible. We can correct errors within 12 hours of your order. After that, your sign may already be in production and changes cannot be guaranteed. Signs produced with incorrect details entered by the customer are not eligible for free replacement.

Is there a character limit for custom text? Yes, character limits vary by product and are displayed on each product page. Shorter text generally produces a cleaner, more visually balanced result.


Products & Materials

What materials are your signs made from? We offer signs in several materials depending on the product: — Metal — Durable, weather-resistant, great for indoor and outdoor use. — Wood — Warm, rustic finish, ideal for farmhouse and home decor styles. — Acrylic — Sleek, modern look, perfect for weddings and nurseries. — LED — Illuminated signs that add ambiance to any room. Each product page specifies the material used.

Are your signs suitable for outdoor use? Our metal signs and certain coated wood signs are designed to withstand outdoor conditions. Acrylic and LED signs are recommended for indoor use only. Please check the product description for specific care and placement recommendations.

Will the colors look exactly like the product photos? We do our best to represent colors accurately, but slight variations may occur due to differences in screen settings, device displays, and the natural characteristics of materials like wood. Each sign is unique.

What sizes are available? Sizes vary by product and are listed on each product page. If you need a custom size that isn't available, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.


Changes & Cancellations

Can I change my order after placing it? Modifications to your personalization details, size, color, or shipping address are accepted within 12 hours of placing your order. After that, production has typically begun and changes cannot be made.

Can I cancel my order? Cancellations are accepted within 1 hour of purchase. Because our products are made to order, production begins quickly and we cannot cancel orders once they are in production. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for full details.


Shipping & Delivery

Where do your orders ship from? Orders are fulfilled through our trusted production and logistics partners, including facilities in the United States. This allows us to serve customers in the US and worldwide with reliable delivery.

What carriers do you use? We ship via USPS, DHL, and UPS, depending on your destination and the shipping method selected at checkout.

How much does shipping cost?Free Shipping: Orders over $99 (US) — US Standard: $4.95 for the first item + $2.00 for each additional item — International: $5.95 for the first item + $2.00 for each additional item

How long will it take to receive my order?

Please note: all timeframes are estimates. During holidays, peak seasons, or unforeseen events, delivery may take longer.

How do I track my order? Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number and link. Please allow 1–3 business days for tracking to become active. You can also track your order through our Track Order page.

Why is my tracking information not updating? Tracking updates depend on the carrier and may not refresh in real time. It is common for tracking to show no movement for several days, especially during transit between sorting facilities or for international shipments passing through customs. If tracking has not updated for more than 10 business days, please contact us.

My order is past the estimated delivery time. What should I do? Please allow a few extra business days beyond the estimate, as delays can occur due to carrier volume, customs, or weather. If your order is more than 3 weeks past the estimated delivery date with no tracking updates, contact us at support@mfamilysign.com and we will investigate and resolve the issue.


International Orders

Do you ship internationally? Yes, we ship worldwide. International shipping rates and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.

Will I be charged customs duties or taxes? Possibly, yes. All customs duties, import taxes, and VAT are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices. These charges are determined by your country's customs authority and are collected upon delivery. We cannot predict or estimate these fees. For more information, please contact your local customs office before ordering.

What happens if I refuse to pay customs fees? If a package is returned or destroyed because the recipient refuses to pay customs charges, we cannot issue a refund. Please review our Shipping Policy for full details.


Returns & Refunds

Can I return my personalized sign? Because all of our signs are custom-made with your personal details, they are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. This includes cases of change of mind, wrong details entered by the customer, or subjective preferences about appearance.

What if my sign arrives damaged or defective? We're sorry to hear that! Please email us at support@mfamilysign.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage or defect. We will send a free replacement as quickly as possible.

What if I received the wrong sign? If we made an error and your sign does not match what you ordered, contact us within 7 days with photos and your order number. We will remake and reship at no cost to you.

When will I receive my refund? If your order qualifies for a refund, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank to post the refund. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.


Privacy & Security

How secure is my personal information? We take your privacy seriously. Our website uses SSL encryption, and all payment processing complies with PCI standards. Will you share my information with third parties? We only share your information with trusted partners necessary to fulfill your order (production, shipping, payment processing). We never sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
